Weddings are an exciting time, and I look forward to being able to make your special
day one you will always remember. Weddings can also be a stressful -
This is how easy it will be for the two of you:
Complete and submit the enquiry form on my contacts page. I’ll then contact you to discuss, the date, time and location of your wedding, and answer any other questions you may have. I’ll also advise you about the legal requirements, including which documents you need to provide. We’ll then make arrangements for you and your partner to meet with me, and discuss your wedding in detail. If you would like to have a “getting to know you meeting”, with no obligations, that’s fine with me.
We’ll discuss what you are looking for in your ceremony, and talk about venues, if you haven’t already chosen one, different types of ceremonies, and you can browse through my “Wedding Ceremonies” booklet which contains a selection of poetry, readings, vows and alternative ceremonies for inspiration, as well as explaining the traditional order of a wedding ceremony.
Once your booking has been secured by the payment of a deposit, we’ll complete the Notice of Intended Marriage form. Following this, you will be able to take my “Wedding Ceremonies” booklet home with you to peruse at your leisure.
When you have decided on what you would like in your ceremony, email, fax or mail your selections to me. I’ll prepare a draft of your ceremony, and email it back to you, so you can have a good look at it. If you want to add or change anything, just contact me, I’m open to your suggestions.
Closer to the wedding day, we’ll meet again, and run through the whole ceremony so that it will be fresh in your minds on the day, and to make sure you don’t have any unanswered questions. The balance of my fee will be payable at this meeting. If you would like a wedding rehearsal with others who are taking part in the ceremony, this can also be arranged.
On the day of the wedding, I’ll arrive at the location in plenty of time to make sure everything is in order. I’ll provide a signing table and chair if necessary, as well as a professional PA system that plays both CDs or MP3 music files, and wireless microphones to ensure the ceremony can be heard by everyone.
Following the ceremony, I’ll register the marriage with the relevant authorities as required. As you see, your wedding ceremony is under control, giving you one less thing to worry about,
